LET GO! (emailed to me)

Let Go!

Let go, let go!
Let go of every concept
Every preconceived idea you have about Me
Yes, even the good concepts
Even concepts gained through past experiences with Me

Let every day be so new
It is as if you never knew Me before
Walk in newness of life
New, always ever-fresh new life

And the only way you can do this
Is to know Me
New
Every day

Let there be contact
Conscious awareness of Me
At least once a day
And then twice a day
And then many times a day
Until your focus rests
Stays
Abides on Me

Let Me reveal facets of Myself
That are new to you
Not familiar
Not cushiony, soft
Comfortable revelations
But disturbing
Unsettling
Exciting
Joyous revelations

You have asked that your mind be renewed
Then offer your body to Me
As a living sacrifice
Many times during the day
Come to Me often
Know Me

Take time
Make time to stop where you are
What you are doing
And know Me
Experience Me
And enter into a new realm of reality
Beyond all your old concepts
Beyond yourself

Let go!

Thanks for praying... I've added you to the prayer list for Emily.

“Pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children.” Lamentations 2:19 (NIV)

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 (NKJV)

In Him,
Amy

I just wanted to let you know that Emily's Dad, Scott, left a comment that I've posted on my blog (as well as a prayer request for his wife). Crystal (Emily's Mom) also added a post to her blog tonight as well.

Thanks for keeping them in prayer,
Amy

"For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them."(Matt. 18:20)
